FilmAid through its DFID (Department for International Development) funded Support for Protection and Assistance for Refugees in Kenya(SPARK) project is calling for expression of interest for in-kind donation to offer for qualified communication businesses owned by refugees and the host community.
The business should have been operational for 6 or more months.
Only businesses located in Kakuma and Kalobeyei in Turkana County are eligible to apply.
Businesses in the following categories are eligible to apply:
- Graphic Design
- T-shirts, poster, business card printing
- Music studio
Requirements to qualify:
- Business Registration Certificate.
- Duly filled in Business Plan Form (available at FilmAid in Kakuma or online)
- Proof of Business owners’ commitment to doing business for accountability and monitoring.
If you have a communication business that meets these requirements, applications can be submitted in two ways, either on-premise application or online:
Proceed to FilmAid Kenya offices in Kakuma (operations office) and pick a free business plan template for your action and submission. The templates can also be picked from FilmAid’s Media Training classes in Kakuma 4 and Kalobeyei, from 14th November 2017.
